It may be the dog days of summer, that doesn’t mean that you can’t still rock out a new cocktail. I have decided to add a little sauvignon blanc wine with my Square One cucumber vodka and Le Jardin the name of this cocktail has been a blessing.
It is nearing the end of the summer and while I was thinking about a fall style sangria and adding organic Art in the Age Root. I began thinking what else could I balance out with a wine… It brought me to the East Hampton and the cucumber working so well with the citrus notes. Then I saw a bottle of sauvignon blanc and said to myself shut the front door. It still needed a little love it wasn’t as simple as cucumber vodka sauvignon blanc go. So I began trying the cocktail with different bitters and the lavender bitters was a win spritz a little bit of lemon zest on top and boom we are all done.
1 ½ oz. Square One cucumber vodka
2 oz. Sauvignon blanc
5 dashes of lavender bitters
Spritz of a lemon peel
